This team guides WGCC’s Outreach giving for local and global needs of others. It also provides promotional efforts regarding denominational Special Offerings during the church year.

The Mission Team Ministry is responsible for promoting the understanding and support of our commitment as a Global Mission Congregation to outreach, service to others, Christian unity, and evangelism.

Primary efforts include:

• Coordination of regular and ad-hoc outreach projects such as mission work trips, Room at the Inn, Habitat for Humanity, Faith Beyond Walls, etc.

• Annual allocation of funds to outreach causes locally and to partners around the world.

• Promotion of annual Reconciliation, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Week of Compassion, Easter and Pentecost special offerings in support of national and global causes.

Through these and other efforts the team endeavors to contribute to mission education and support of global missionary activity, and to provide the congregation with opportunities to participate in outreach, justice advocacy, ecumenism, interfaith dialogue and evangelism.
