Administrative Board
The Webster Groves Christian Church board of directors implements the purposes of the congregation, carrying out the general business of the congregation on behalf of the congregation. The board consists of 14 members elected by the congregation, a representative of the elders, a representative of the church deacons, leaders of various ministry teams and any full time ministers. Those elected by the congregation are elected to two-year terms. Board members are expected to support the programs of the congregation and participate in the church's stewardship program.

Council of Ministries
The Council of Ministries coordinates the programs of the church in collaboration with the Ministry Teams and the Ministers. The Council is advisory and its actions are focused upon coordination and facilitation of various ministries within the church.

The Council meets monthly and is chaired by the Vice President of the Administrative Board.  The Team Leaders of the following ministries are members: Nurture Team, Christian Education Team, Stewardship Team, Property Team, Mission Team, Worship Team and the Welcoming Team.  In addition to the Team Leaders, the following people are members of the Council:  the Secretary of the Administrative Board, a Representative of the Board of Elders, a Representative of the Diaconate, a Representative of the Christian Women’s Fellowship, a Representative of the Christian Men’s Fellowship and a Representative of the Senior Youth Group.  The President of the Administrative Board and the Ministers of the congregation are ex-officio members.

Meetings are held for the purpose of ensuring the integration of planning and activities by the various ministries.  At these meetings, Team Leaders report on the direction, challenges and opportunities of their ministries.  Discussions at meetings focus on concepts, ideas and plans that will be shared with the entire Administrative Board at its meeting.  The Council of Ministries may undertake special studies, examinations and activities as directed by the Administrative Board.
