Rev. Dr. Jeff Moore - Senior Pastor
An ordained United Church of Christ Minister with partner status in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Jeff came to Webster Groves Christian Church in March of 2008. Jeff has a Bachelor of Science in Outdoor Leadership from Aurora University, and Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Eden Theological Seminary. His Doctor of Ministry work focused on the question of "Christian Connectedness," and explored this from biblical and liberation standpoints. Jeff is currently writing a PhD. dissertation on Theological Education in the Lesotho Evangelical Church, following a three year program of ethnographic and theological research in Lesotho, southern Africa.

 
  Jeff has served churches in Mascoutah, Illinois, Darmstadt and Biddleborn, Illinois, and Pana and Dollville, Illinois. He has served as Director of Outdoor Ministries in the Rocky Mountain Conference, UCC, and from 2003-2007 served, along with his spouse, Susan, as a Common Global Ministries Missionary in Lesotho. While in Lesotho Jeff taught at Morija Theological Seminary and the National University of Lesotho; served as the HIV and AIDS Coordinator for the Lesotho Evangelical Church; and served as Interim Pastor for Maseru United Church - an international, nondenominational congregation. Upon his return to the United States, Jeff lived and taught on campus at Eden Theological Seminary, where he was Missionary in Residence during the 2007-2008 academic year. Jeff has continued to teach as an adjunct to the Eden faculty.

Jeff and Susan have three children - Abigail, Daniel, and Khotso.
     
jenn Rev. Jenn Simmons – Associate Pastor
Jenn graduated from Eden Theological Seminary where she received a Masters of Divinity and from Texas Christian University where she received a B.A. in religious studies. She has served as youth minister several years with positions in Texas, Illinois, and Missouri. She also served as a Campus Minister Intern at Missouri State University. While in seminary, Jenn had an opportunity to serve as children’s chaplain at Lydia’s House and as a chaplain at Lutheran Senior Services. Jenn and her family reside in Crestwood.
 
     
Susan Susan Stratton - Administrative Assistant
Susan is originally from Mason, Illinois. She has relocated to the Webster Groves area so that her husband can attend Eden Theological Seminary. Her hours in the church office are Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 12:30PM and 1:30PM to 4:30PM.
 
     
Chuck Chuck Peery – Director of Music
Chuck taught public school choral music for 28 years in Ohio after having studied choral music education, organ and composition at the College-Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati. He has handbell music published by the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers, and has written works on commission for churches in several states as well as for the bell choir of the University of Southern Mississippi and the Cincinnati Brass Band. He has studied harp with Ulrike Brinksmeier at the Cincinnati Conservatory and with Ayako Watanabe in St. Louis. Chuck is the director of the Gateway Ringers. He is also the Dean of the St. Louis Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
 
     
Bob Bob Chamberlin – Organist
Bob is Assoc. Professor of Music at Webster University, where he is Director of Theory and Musicianship. He has served as church organist for a number of years, with positions in Missouri, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Arkansas. He is a member of the St. Louis Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. An active composer, Bob has written music for orchestra, wind ensemble, chamber ensembles, theatre and dance. His sacred music compositions include original hymn tunes and works for organ, piano, choir and handbells. Bob and his family reside in Webster Groves.
 
     
Lisa Grace Lisa Grace - Student Pastor
Lisa is currently in her third year at Eden Theological Seminary. She hails originally from the small town of Canton, Illinois. She received her B.S. in Sociology from Illinois State University in 2007. Lisa is very excited to grow and learn with everyone at WGCC this year!
 
     
Don Don Hubatka - Financial Administrator
Don, our financial administrator, might refer to himself as a retired accountant, but there is nothing retiring about Don's busy life. He continues to work (part time) for several churches in the metro St. Louis area and for the Union Avenue Opera
.
 
     
Greig Greg Hanser - Lead Custodian
Greg grew up in Webster and now has lived in Kirkwood for 21 years. He owned Hanser Improvements for almost 30 years. Greg also serves as the Building Inspector and Code Compliance Officer for the City of Oakland since 2006. Greg has been married for 22 years to his lovely wife Carole. Last year Greg served as the President of the Webster Groves Lions Club. He has been a member of this organization for 20 years.

Just outside of the office there is an eye glass recycling box provided by the Webster Groves Lions.  We recycle your old used eye glasses and send them to 3rd world countries for people who cannot afford them. For more information please call Greg at 314-420-7481.
 
     
Gary Gary Smith - Custodian
Gary Smith spent most of his life living and farming near Memphis, Missouri, where he cared for his parents until their deaths. Gary and his father also provided care for a local cemetery and other community projects. Gary now lives in Maryland Heights with his brother and sister-in-law, John and Shah Smith, and enjoys being a great-uncle to their four children, three spouses, and four grandchildren.

 
     
Lee Lisa Haake - Child Care
Lisa is the child care provider working in the nursery (ages infant to 3 yrs.) She and her 3 young girls have been part of the church family and taking care of children in the nursery for 12 years. Lisa has been taking care of children since she was 12 years old. She has a BA degree in Elementary Education. She has found the people belonging to Webster Groves Christian Church to be an inspiration in her family’s life.
 
     
Asa Asa Norling - Brown - Child Care
Asa is the child care provider working in the pre-school room. She has been at Webster Groves Christian Church for 6 years and really enjoys her work here. She was born and raised in a small town in Sweden. She really likes the “small town” feeling she gets from the Webster Groves Community.
